The original Ray-Ban Aviators were developed in 1937 for US Air Force pilots, and the brand was born soon afterwards. Although largely regarded as an American brand, Ray-Ban is actually an Italian brand of sunglasses. Arguably the most iconic sunglass brand in the world, Ray-Ban is famed for the aviator style (famously worn in Top Gun), along with the Wayfarer, which was introduced in 1952. Both still enduringly stylish choices.
