Twenty Seven Names

Wellington based designers Rachel Easting and Anjali Stewart established twenty-seven names in 2006, and the
fresh, new label has hit the ground running since then.

With art and fashion degree backgrouns respectively, designs Rachel Easting and Anjali Stewart cite contemporary
art as the basis for their collections. Their ambition and commitment propelled them onto the New Zealand fashion scene
and a few short years after its birth, the Twenty-seven names can already be found nationwide and in stores across Australia.

Twenty-seven Names plays with themes of androgyny, while tying together the formal and informal: the serious and the humorous.
