Sass and Bide

Founded by Sarah-Jane Clarke (nickname "sass") and Heidi Middleton (nickname "bide"), the label began life as a stall
on London's Portobello Road, then rose to heights with their now famous East Village jean- a sexy hipster with a daring
2 inch zip. What had already become an underground phenomenon in Australia, quickly expanded in south- east Asia,
USA, Europe and even the Middle East.

From their beginnings in innovative denim design, the talented Aussie duo’s collection expanded within two short years
into a full seasonal ready-to-wear collection.

Today, the sass & bide range offers not only innovative new shapes and detailing in denim, it also features an extensive
and luxurious fashion range which showcases twice a year on the runway at New York Fashion Week. The Sass & Bide
signature style is inspired by the beautiful and the obscure; their unique look is a quirky, yet ultimately sexy aesthetic.

Superette brings you all three of the Sass & Bide collections each season- Denim, Play (S&B VIE) and fashion, of which
the latter is stocked exclusively by Superette for the Auckland region.
