Dan Single and George Gorrow, co-founders and directors of the brand, created ksubi as a culture of fashion, music and art.

ksubi is a collective. It is not influenced by consumer trends and has inadvertently become a social commentator of its generation.

The boys behind ksubi, their conceptual feats, topical fashion style and signature denim has led the brand to exponential popularity. From live rats being released onto the catwalk in 2001, warehouse installations and late-night booty bar parties in 2002, boat shows in 2003 and a motorbike rock chick calendar in 2004, to a futuristic inspired parade closing

Australian Fashion Week in 2005, and more recently a post-apocalyptic inspired collection at 2007 Rosemount Australian Fashion Week and One Via Zero in 2010 which coincided and celebrated the 10 year anniversary of the brand—ksubi has never fallen short of an impressive spectacle.
