Chronicles Of Never

Designers - Chronicles Of Never

Gareth Moody, the name behind the Chronicles brand is no doubt a name you will recognise as being one third of the original Tsubi/Ksubi team.

A few years on and a few years older, Moody decided to go it alone and launched himself into the fashion world solo, leaving the madness of Ksubi behind.

Chronicles has been described as simultaneously leading and ignoring fashion, a description that rather fits the sharp and striking design of the clothing.

"Chronicles of Never fuses industrial materials with the light headiness of dreams; simultaneously leading and ignoring fashion."

Brand Profile

Gareth Moody, the name behind the Chronicles brand is no doubt a name you will recognise as being one third of the original Tsubi/Ksubi team. A few years on and a few years older, Moody decided to go it alone and launched himself into the fashion world solo, leaving the madness of Ksubi behind.

Chronicles has been described as simultaneously leading and ignoring fashion, a description that rather fits the
sharp and striking design of the clothing.

Moody draws his inspiration from architecture, cubism, space and geometrics- combining a love of industrial design with top quality fabrics and resulting in quite possibly one of the coolest and unique collections to come out of the fashion world for a while.

Since the labels beginning in 2006, Chronicles already has a cult following in Australia, and the UK and US alike,
with stockists in high-end department stores such as Selfridges in London, and Seven in New York.

Winter 2011 collection

The AW11 range itself is carrying on from the momentum of Into The Vøided (SS10/11), softer tones and warmth, a very dusty pallet of color and rusty earth tones.

Being winter there is of course a darker presence, with a focus on combinations; leather, linen and fine cord feature in a combination of garments throughout the range, in both men’s and women’s highlight items. AW11 is classic Chronicles of never, and yet somewhat more developed and a little more mature.
