Designer Cooper hails from New Zealand, but it was the eight years spent living in London as footwear designer for Eley Kishimoto, Bernhard Willhelm, and Alexander McQueen that helped inspire the Beau Coops debut solo collection.  Cooper has made a name for herself as a designer collaborator of choice, with ongoing projects for Sass & Bide, BASSIKE and Leona Edminston.

Beau Coops first hit Australian stores in A/W 2010 with the debut, break through collection ‘Fall, Stand and Deliver’.   Girls far and wide embraced the Frankly wedge – a sky high, zip front wedge now synonymous with the Beau Coops brand. ‘It’s not you, It’s me’ collection followed and cemented Cooper as a serious footwear designer, she was labeled  ‘one to watch’ on Imelda Matts influential footwear blog, The Dispotic Queen of Shoes.  Strong editorial followed in Australian & NZL publications including Vogue, Instyle, Fashion Quarterly, Marie Claire, Oyster and Russh.

International exposure for Beau Coops begun in late 2009 with the distinguished Electric Sekki distributing for the Asian markets and the Robinson Pfeffer showroom picking up the brand for the European markets. One year later Beau Coops can be found in some of the best boutiques and department stores in the world.  Liberties, Selfridges, One Cube Hong Kong, IT Asia, Start Boutique, Superette, Leo Boutique in Canada and Oak NY. With the growing success of the brand and a huge cult following the brand now has over 70 stockiest worldwide.

Beau Coops can currently be seen on style icons including Yasmin Sewell, Daisy Lowe, Peaches Geldoff, Ed Westwick and musicans the Tings Tings, Florence Welch, and Sia.
